The efficiency of economic relations in the new economy

The efficiency of economic relations in the new economy

Journal of Economic Regulation, , Vol. 9 (no. 1),

Radical changes in the technological basis of production irreversibly transformerait and economic relations in the entire chain of reproduction process. Change not only the content, characteristics, properties of economic relations, but also their form. In conditions of intensifying resource scarcity, ensuring the realization of the fourth and the emerging fifth and sixth technological structures, as well as the contradictions of production and the environment the question of efficiency of economic relations is of paramount importance. Usually, effectiveness know the balance of costs and benefits. However, this “hard” approach to the definition of the notion “efficiency”, and therefore unproductive for the practice of the organization for economic interactions. The author propose a different, “softer” approach, according to which efficiency is not determined by the ratio of costs and benefits, and the ability to achieve the goals of social production. The author, after G. Jonas, convinced that “if humanity wants to survive, in their business activities it shall be guided by the principle of responsibility to nature and future generations” (Jonas, 2004), and the principle of economic responsibility in the organization of economic relations. An expansive understanding of resources strategic development proposed О. Belokrylova and N. Boghosian (boghosian and belokrylova, 2016) will refer to the resources for strategic development and economic responsibility! The article substantiates the need to consider economic responsibilities as a resource for strategic development.
