System optimization of investments into the sphere of material goods production and the transport branch

System optimization of investments into the sphere of material goods production and the transport branch

Journal of Economic Regulation, , Vol. 5 (no. 2),
p. 115-123

In the paper the economic and mathematical models of system optimization of investments into the sphere of material goods production and the transport branch are built and analyzed. The optimal volume of investments in the development of the sphere of material goods production in the event of a sufficient level of development of the transport branch and the optimal volume of investments in the development of the sphere of material goods production and transport branch in case of necessity of their systematic development are found. In the case of need for investment in the transport branch, the optimal investment in the development of the sphere of material goods production and the optimal output are reduced compared to the situation when the transport capacity would be high enough from the beginning.
It is established that when the efficiency of investment in the development of the sphere of production of material goods is higher than in the transport branch, then while its further increase investment in the development of the sphere of material goods production are reduced. In the case when the efficiency of investment in the transport branch is higher than in the development of the sphere of material goods production, then while its further increase investment in the transport branch are reduced.
It is found that the optimal investment in the development of the sphere of material goods production while increasing the efficiency of investment in the transport branch always increases, which confirms the growth stimulatory effect of the transport branch at the development of material production of the national economy.
