The increasing role of human capital theory for management of modernization of russian economy

The authors give a brief overview of the theoretical and practical issues of development and use of human capital in the Russian economy, consider the role of the intellectual and human capital in the innovative development process of the economy. Research results are based on the analysis of main human capital concepts. The creation of the modern human capital is seen as an important process and a shift of the domestic economy to an innovative path of development.
