The activity and prospects of the group of companies "Polyplastic" emerged in 1991 for the composite materials and plastic pipes production are analyzed. It is shown that arisen from the ground, the company has become the largest in Russia and a prominent company in the global market for their specialization. The "secret" of these achievements is revealed: the best choice structure of the enterprise, skillful selection of senior staff, a focus on scientific and technological researches, integration with foreign companies. In this example of the company the author shows that the Russian private equity is becoming a creative force in the 2000s.

The formation problem of innovation development strategy, which consists of three parts: the maximum generation of innovation, development speed of innovation and the creation of an attractive offer for the consumer product innovation is considered in the paper. The creation of an innovative sector of the economy as a mechanism for implementing such a strategy is proposed.
